Programmer Gary Edwards co-founded a nonprofit organization to promote the OpenDocument stardard, and he used to be a technical liaision for OpenOffice.org. But he still faces criticism from OpenOffice advocates over his development of a plug-in that would add OpenDocument support to Microsoft Office.
